about

cow: Music & Astral Spirits are proud to present 'Matisse Bath' by Dr. Se Jong Cho (environmental scientist/ painter/ animal trainer/ most positive person on Earth) & Marc Miller (guitarist/ composer/ Oxes guy/ backstage luthier/ best friend a man could ask for).

While the liner notes, written by Gabriel Jermaine Vanlandingham-Dunn, lay out how the 2xlp set came to be, the project is not only the 5th offering from the cow: Music, it also marks the beginning phase into the launch of cow: Visuals. This second branch of the cow arts program focuses on visual art, graphic design, and gallery viewings. More to come soon.

'Matisse Bath' is a meditative masterpiece (audio and visually speaking). Dr. Cho's mini-essay describes her take on Henri Matisse's work, and Marc responds with his compositions. Recorded over the span of several months between 2018 and 2019, it was sequenced by the producer (from more than 100 compositions) for the purpose of the 2xlp set that you are putting your ears on.

That is it. All the words. It is limited. Just trust us and pick up a copy.
